The Astrological meaning of being
"Born Again"
The Son of Man prophets speak of a change of heart given by God
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you;
I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."
--Ezekiel 36:26
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
--John 3:3
What does Jesus mean when he says we must be "born again" in order to see the kingdom of God? The traditional answer is that this means one must be spiritually reborn, take on the Spirit of Christ, be like Christ, in order to enter the kingdom of God where Christ rules as Messiah. But given the strong astrological association of the whole Messiah-Christ anointed one to the Sign of Aquarius described in the Christ Aquarius Revelation chapter, I am convinced "born again" actually has a more simple meaning: Regardless of the astrological sign one is born into, one must understand and accept that God has placed only one Sign in the sky to show the way to full humanity, the Sign of Aquarius where the Humanitarian Archetype has been accumulating over the past 4000 years inside and outside the Abrahamic traditions.
Jesus Christ represents the Humanitarian Archetype God has given humankind and the Humanitarian Archetype lore for God's own reasons seems to be primary attribute of Aquarius. Aquarius, with his urn of Living Waters, models the Humanitarian Man who desires nothing so much as standing in truth because it is only in truth that we are set free of the sins of our fathers, the sins of cruel and harmful traditions, the sins of our selfish selves.* To bring peace, love and harmony to the world, one must learn to be cooperative which is another hallmark of the Aquarian archetype.
* The Humanitarian Archetype pages show how humanitarian characteristics have evolved over time and the Judeo-Christian epic.

For Jesus Christ, John the Baptist performs this Aquarian role
After baptism, the Angel of God alights on Jesus showing Jesus has God's blessing. Through the baptism ritual Jesus Christ has been "Born Again". He has taken on the mantle of Aquarius, the Sign of the Humanitarian Man. John says,
"I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know. It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose."
--John 1:26,27
Thoth anoints a pharaoh with an ankh-was stream representing "Living Waters"
In the Gospels of Mark and John "sandal strap" is Egyptian code for the Egyptian Cross, the ankh. "Ankh" is the Egyptian word for "sandal strap" and the shape of the ankh and sandal strap were linked to the Knot of Isis. The ancient Egyptians believed the one who could "loosen" the Knot of Isis acquired knowledge of resurrection to eternal life. He was given that knowledge by the Helper who has the Living Waters of Aquarius to give.
Anubis holds the ankh to the nose of a pharaoh letting the Spirit of Life enter him
“...and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
--Genesis 2:7
The Messiah-Christ-Aquarius spiritual knowledge is taken out of Egypt
by the Israelites
Moses with his magic healing brass snake
and the Caduceus, the emblem of Enki, the Sumerian water god
The Caduceus is also Hermes emblem and the emblem of adopted by the medical profession. Two snakes are the totem animals of Aquarius and the Egyptian hieroglyph for water, "mu", the root of the name of Musa, "Moses".
When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son."
--Hosea 11:1
"When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt,
and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
“Out of Egypt I called My Son.”
--Matthew 3:14
After baptism, the symbolic taking on of the Living Waters of Aquarius, Jesus Christ then becomes Christianity's icon of Aquarius. As Aquarius with Living Waters to share, one must carry the Sign of Living Waters, the ankh cross.
"Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me."--Mark 8:34
"And he who does not take his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me."--Matthew 10:37
"And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple."--Luke 14:27
As I've written elsewhere given all the Egyptian connections to the Gospel story, I do think it is the ankh, the Egyptian cross that Jesus is referring to in his commandments above. Only professional weight-lifters and circus strongmen could carry a 250 pound Roman crucifixion cross around with them whereas we see all the important Egyptian gods and pharaohs each dutifully carrying their ankh crosses.

The Egyptian Cross, the ankh, represents Life as opposed to the Christian Cross that even before Christianity was an icon of death. Two X crosses were put on the eyes to represent dead people in ancient imagery. The lower length of the Christian Cross is impaled into the earth while the ankh cross is carried by the living.
"The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
--John 10:10
Jesus comes that we might have Life more abundantly. The two Crosses of Christianity, the Roman crucifixion cross and the Egyptian Cross of Life, the ankh, will come to symbolize the division between Pauline or Piscean Age Christianity and Celestial Christianity in the Age of Aquarius where the Spirit of Christ will finally be exalted by being in its rightful celestial House in the Precession of the Equinoxes. See more about this in the Aquariana Divide pages.
The Jordan River
The world's finest symbolic River of Life
The Jordan River is unique in the world in that it begins in a large lake and flows due south into a dead sea symbolizing a person's life from birth to death. The Jordan also runs in a nearly straight line separating the arid rocky inland Arabian deserts from the fertile coastal plains of Palestine. In this way "crossing over the Jordan" became a symbol for a human being's life following the sun going from east to the west, from sunrise in the East symbolizing youth and the lack of nourishment and lack of knowledge, to adulthood, family and community life, and then to old age and death following the setting sun.
The Mantle of Aquarius
One must be "born again", one must put on the Mantle of Aquarius, the same spiritual mantle Elijah gives to Elisha, to successfully make the spiritual crossing of the River of Life. As the Sumerian bas-relief seen above shows, that mantle of Aquarius as the powerful water god was first imagined as two streams of Living Waters coming off the shoulders of Enki, the Sumerian god of water and creation. Near the top of this page shows how the Egyptians imagined the Aquarian mantle of two anointing streams of Living Waters. Judaism with its need to protect the written Word of God against the pagan religions usage of icons and imagery to tell their beliefs, disallowed any images of how they imagined Living Waters so we have the story in words instead of images and icons, the words describing the story of Elijah handing his mantle of powers over the waters of the Jordan to Elisha. We have assumed this mantle to be a coat of some sort.
But was it? Elijah, like Moses, like Jesus, is a spiritual being. Spiritual beings are recognized by their supernatural powers mortals do not possess--yet. At the end of Elijah's work he confers his mantle of water god powers to his protégé Elisha so that he could cross over the Jordan and assume Elijah's prophetic work.
Crossing over vs. Passover
Being a Christian I am naturally more inclined to think that "cross" over is a more spiritually and psychologically accurate term for the term that represents the Savior-Psychopomp-Helper and the individual he assists in reaching the Other Side. As usual ancient Egypt leads the way with Anubis establishing both the Baptist ritual purification role and the role of Psychopomp. Instead of a magic mantle like Elijah uses for making the symbolic crossing of the River of Life, Anubis has a magic boat.
Anubis watches over the rascal Doctor Parnassus, owner of the Imaginarium
Anubis prepares the dead for successful voyage a-cross the River of Life and Death into the Egyptian heavenly eternity. He has to have Water God powers to do so. Then the powers over the Water God are taken out of Egypt by Moses. Next, Elijah demonstrates the Aquarian water god powers.
"And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”
--1 Kings 17:1
Elijah prepares his successor Elisha for his prophesy bearing role by parting the symbolic River of Life, the Jordan, with his magic mantle with power over water so that Elisha can "cross over" with the "cross" symbolism a better fit. The Cross of Life derived from the four Fixed Signs of the Zodiac was certainly understood that way in Native America.
Elijah taken up into heaven via a whirlwind which is a water god icon combination of the water association yet Air Sign designation of Aquarius in the Zodiac. Elijah has power over lightning as seen when he defeated the priests of Baal. All these water + air = storm god powers show Elijah to be another Aquarian agent in the Bible.
See the Vision of Christ Josephine to see how the Elijah whirlwind manifested in my prophesy bearing role announcing Josephine's coming with the Spirit of Christ.
The Spirit of Elijah comes again in John the Baptist
Jesus tells us that John the Baptist fulfilled the return of the Spirit of Elijah role that announces the arrival of the Messiah. The physical description of John the Baptist matching that of Elijah certainly would seem to make him a likely candidate. But John doesn't have a magic mantle of Aquarius to give Jesus who doesn't need it because he has the powers already. John just needs to confirm and consecrate Jesus to high office, the office of Messiah, the Christ, the One who bears Living Waters of Aquarius that turn human beings into humane beings.
Putting on the Mantle of Aquarius = "Born Again"
When we put on the Mantle of Aquarius, when we adopt the ethical code of Christ as our Humanitarian Archetype that is contained within the lore of Aquarian characteristics, we are "Born Again" and are ready for entry into the Kingdom of God.
